A DRINK driver who was almost four times the limit has appeared in court.
Tina Ball was caught drink driving in a Mazda on May 6 on Eling Lane.
The 57-year-old was found to have 126 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
This made her 3.6 times over the legal limit.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, she admitted one charge of drink driving.
Ball, of Evergreens Rose Road, Totton, was handed an interim disqualification from driving, banning her from the roads until the next court hearing.
Ball was remanded on unconditional bail until the next hearing at court on August 9 for sentencing.
