Police were called to a concern for welfare incident near a railway bridge in Totton.
Officers were contacted after 5pm on Monday to reports of concern for the welfare of a 19-year-old man near Junction Road.

The force has confirmed he was passed into the care of the ambulance service.
Passers-by reported seeing the man on a nearby railway bridge before he was brought to safety.
