A TEENAGER has been arrested after an electric bike and a Segway were stolen in a burglary.
A member of the public was threatened with a weapon during the incident in Totton at 4.40pm yesterday.
It was reported that two men went into a bike shed and bin storage area on Lakeside Way.
An electric bike and a Segway were taken from the bike shed.
A local resident tried to challenge one of the men as they fled the scene across King George Recreational Ground.
The victim says that they were threatened with "an offensive weapon".
Police were able to identify a 17-year-old boy from Totton, who has subsequently been arrested on suspicion of burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal and threatening a person with a bladed article in a public place.
He remains in custody at this time.
