A young man's body has been found in Southampton Water.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary confirmed the tragic discovery, which happened earlier today.
When the body was found in the water, by Royal Victoria Country Park in Netley Abbey, police were called at 7.14am.
The force confirmed that the man was in his 20s, and his next of kin have been made aware.
An area in the country park was cordoned off while officers carried out their enquiries, but this has been lifted as of 3pm today.
Police said that the man's death was not being treated as suspicious and a file would be prepared for the Coroner.
