IT's the viral sensation of a show that everyone is losing their heads over.

SIX returned to Mayflower Theatre last week for the third of four runs in as many years due to its sell out success.

And its stars took a trip out to Calshot Castle which was built by Henry VIII around 1539 to defend the sea passage to Southampton to mark a return next year.

Reigning on Broadway and in the West End, the international smash hit musical will make another royal return to Southampton from July 16 to 20, 2024.

From Tudor Queens to Pop Princesses, the six wives of Henry VIII take to the mic to tell their tales, remixing 500 years of historical heartbreak into an 80-minute celebration of 21st century girl power.

Our review of the show described it as 'a superb celebration of sisterhood'. You can read it here.
