If you've always fancied yourself as a zookeeper, now's your chance. 

Marwell Wildlife is advertising for keepers at their 140-acre zoo, near Colden Common.

There are four jobs available, looking after rhinos, giraffes, primates and small mammals and birds and reptiles. 

Marwell are looking for warm and welcoming candidates who work well as part of a team and possess strong communication skills. 

Responsibilities will include ensuring high standards of animal welfare, daily checks and talking to members of the public.

Daily Echo:

The hoofstock rhino animal keeper enjoys a salary of £22,495.20, while the hoofstock giraffe assistant animal keeper is a fixed term contract until January 2024 and will earn you £21,673.60 per annum. 

It's the same salary for the other two roles, a primates and small mammals assistant animal keeper and a bird and herps assistant animal keeper.
