Several cafes, restaurants, and bars in Southampton have been handed new hygiene ratings.

An American restaurant and a popular bar are among the establishments rated ‘very good’ in this week’s round-up.

Every week, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) inspects businesses across the country, assessing hygiene and safety, structural compliance, and confidence in management.

Every food outlet including convenience stores, restaurants, hospitals and care homes are given a hygiene rating across the UK.
