A man has been taken to hospital following an incident near a Southampton river.
Police and the ambulance service received reports of concern for the welfare of a man by Lords Hill Way, close to Tanner's Brook, on Thursday evening.
A police spokesperson confirmed a man in his 20s was taken to hospital.
A photo posted on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, shows emergency service vehicles with blue lights on parked in nearby Goldcrest Gardens as officers and paramedics assisted the casualty.
The incident happened just before 8.20pm.
