POLICE used a Taser after two people suspected of robbing a delivery driver were stopped on the M3 near Eastleigh.
The victim was making a delivery to an address at Beechwood, Fordingbridge, just after 2pm on Monday when he was approached by two men.
They are alleged to have pushed the driver to the ground before stealing four packages and fleeing the area in a vehicle.
A police spokesperson said: "Officers were deployed after the vehicle was located travelling along the M3 towards junction 12 at Eastleigh. They successfully stopped the vehicle safely.
"One of the men attempted to flee the scene but a Taser was drawn and deployed by officers to ensure he was detained safely. While the other man was arrested inside the vehicle.
"A 33-year-old man from Harlow, Essex, and a 39-year-old man from Lewisham, London were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
"They remain in custody at this time."
