Many students will go to their schools to find out their results, while others will receive them online.
Twenty years ago exam results were not available online, so youngsters had no choice but to attend school in droves. Each of them was eager to see how they had faired.
Times have certainly changed – now kids just have to open their phones to find out if they passed or failed.
The date was August 24, 2000, when these images were snapped. The hallways and entrances to schools were packed with students hugging and celebrating their accomplishments.
While many cemented their places in the colleges they had hoped for, others found their results weren't quite as good as they had hoped. This resulted in the need for a rethink regarding the future.
