Two men were arrested after police witnessed a 'possible exchange'.
Officers were on "targeted patrols" on Friday night in the Totton area when around 9pm they witnessed what police described as a "possible exchange" between two people in a car and a member of the public.
According to a post shared on the force's social media, officers then followed the car to Ashurst where the driver was stopped and officers searched the two men, aged 28 and 33.

Following this they found a "substantial amount of white powder", they said.
The two men, from the Totton area, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
As of Saturday afternoon, one of them has been released under investigation while the other remains in custody.
Police are continuing with their enquiries.
