With thousands set to enjoy all Music in the City has to offer this weekend, the Echo looks back at the event's equivalent from the 1990s,
The Summer of Music Festival took place all over the city and involved numerous groups, musicians and bands.
The venues were spread across the entire city, from Southampton Sports Centre to an open-top bus.
