The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court.

RONWYN EDWARDS, 30, of Tunstall Road, Southampton admitted causing criminal damage to a vehicle. He was granted bail to appear on October 25 at the same court for sentencing. 

PETER WOOD, 45, of Violet Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to assault by beating of an emergency worker in Bedford Place. He was given a sentence of four months suspended for 12 months and must pay £200 compensation. 

CHARLES JENKYN, 44, of Shears Road, Bishopstoke admitted drink driving on Dartington Road, Eastleigh in an Audi A3. He was caught with 139 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Jenkyn was bailed to appear at the same court on September 28 for sentencing.

MARTIN COLLIER, 60, of Portsmouth Road, Southampton admitted driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance on Millbank Street in a Mazda 6 TS. He was given a four-week sentence suspended for 12 months and was disqualified from driving for three months. Collier must pay court costs of £85 and a £154 surcharge.

CRAIG AYLING, 28, of Lebanon Road, Redbridge pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in a public place, namely Six Dials, Southampton. He also admitted failing or refusing to provide a sample for a class A drugs test whilst in police custody, failing to provide a specimen for analysis and common assault of an emergency worker. Ayling was bailed to appear at the same court on October 25 for sentencing. An interim driving disqualification was made. 

JOANNE RICE, 39, of Sandringham Close, Chandler's Ford pleaded guilty to drink driving on Pilgrims Close, Chandler's Ford. She was driving a Mini when she was caught with 89 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Rice was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £850. She must pay £85 court costs and a £340 surcharge.
