A fly-tipper has been ordered to pay more than £1,000 after dumping piles of waste near a Southampton road.
Michael Anthony O'Connell was ordered to pay £1,192.39 in compensation after depositing the waste on land near Millbrook Point Road.
Photos shared by Southampton City Council show wooden planks and what appear to be bags of insulation strewn across the stretch of grass.

Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, O'Connell, 36, of Nelson Road, Southampton admitted a single count of depositing waste without a permit.
The incident took place on December 23 last year.
On Friday (September 22) he was also given a 12-month community order with 80 hours of unpaid work.
As well as the compensation, which will cover the clean-up costs, he must pay court costs of £250 and a £114 surcharge.
