The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

LUKE MCWHINNIE, 22, of Water Lane, Totton admitted drug driving on Water Lane. He was caught driving a Peugeot Boxer with 5.1 microgrammes of THC in a litre of his blood. McWhinnie was banned from driving for 12 months and fined £500. He must also pay £85 towards court costs and a £200 surcharge. 

DRISS ABDESLAM SIYAHLA, 47, of Fowlers Walk, Chilworth admitted two counts of assault by beating at the tennis court in Chilworth. They were given a community order to run until March 20, 2025. Siyahla was excluded from the tennis court for the next 18 months and must pay a £114 surcharge. 

JORDAN BRUCE, 29, of Kingsclere Avenue, Southampton pleaded guilty to driving without a licence, driving without insurance and drink driving at Tesco on Hamble Lane, Hamble-Le-Rice. He was caught with 71 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Bruce was banned from driving for 40 months and fined £450. He must also pay £85 court cost.

PAWEL STRONK, 43, of Middle Street, Southampton admitted two counts of possessing a controlled drug of Class B, namely cannabis and amphetamine. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay court costs of £85 plus a £48 surcharge. An order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs.

SHAWN JOHNSON, 28, of Ashdown Road, Bexhill-on-Sea admitted drink driving at Station Road, Nursling. He was caught with 57 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Johnson was banned from driving for 12 months and fined £300. He must also pay court costs of £85 and a £120 surcharge. 

JULIAN KERR, 36, of Burbush Close, Holbury pleaded guilty to drug driving at Rownhams Services on the M27 northbound. He was with 14 microgrammes of THC in a litre of his blood. Kerr also admitted possessing a Class B drug, namely cannabis. He was banned from driving for 16 months and fined £80. Kerr must also pay court costs of £85 and a £32 surcharge.
