The talented son of three Michelin star chef Simon Rogan has been nominated for his first foodie award, less than a year after opening his fine dining restaurant in Southampton.
Daniel Rogan, Chef-Patron at AO Restaurant in London Road, has been named 'one to watch' in prestigious industry awards the Staff Canteen Awards.
Judges have described him as an 'inspiration' who has had 'some of the best chefs in the world as mentors' but who is 'independent in his mission to become one of the greatest'.

AO Restaurant opened its doors in December and offers an ever-evolving eight-course tasting menu using locally-sourced and sustainable ingredients, plus a superb wine pairing menu.
Dan is asking for support from food lovers in his home city, which he hopes to put on the foodie map with his new take on fine dining, before voting for the winner closes on Monday.
