A man has appeared in court over a break-in and vehicle theft in Hampshire.

Max Plaister, 21, of no fixed abode was charged with burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.

It's after a house was broken into and a Vauxhall Mokka stolen from a driveway on Beaumont Rise, Fareham, on June 7.

Plaister was also charged with attempted burglary and theft from a motor vehicle after a key was stolen from a car and attempts were made to gain access to a house on Bye Road, Swanwick, on October 9.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

At the hearing, he was further remanded to appear at the same court on November 13.
