Drivers are being told to plan ahead as the M27 is set to close for works over the next two weeks.
National Highways has told drivers to leave extra time for their journeys due to the overnight closures that start tonight.
The motorway will be shut between junctions 2 (Ower) and 3 (Rownhams) as repairs are carried out on the River Test Bridge, to keep the structure safe and secure.

From today until Sunday, October 22, the westbound carriageway will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
From Monday, October 23 to Sunday, October 29, the M27 will be closed eastbound between 9pm and 6am.
Drivers should follow the diversion route which will be in place in both directions via A36, A3090, A27 Bypass Road, Southampton Road, A3057 and M271.
