A motorcyclist has been injured in a crash on a busy roundabout in Totton town centre.

The man was on Salisbury Road, at the roundabout near the conservative club, shortly after 9am today when he was involved in a crash with a car.

Bystanders saw him lying on the ground next to his bike and he appeared to be conscious.

Ambulances and police were swiftly sent to the scene, with cops confirming they received the call at 9.19am.

According to a police spokesperson, the motorcyclist suffered minor injuries.

The force could not confirm if he was sent to hospital or not.

The incident led to traffic delays in the area while emergency services treated him. These have since cleared.
