Details for the highly anticipated Christmas lights switch-on event in Eastleigh have been unveiled.
The popular event will light up the streets of the town on November 18.
The switch-on itself will take place at 6pm but the festivities will get underway from 11am.
Stalls and activities will be open in Market Street and the High Street, which will be closed to vehicles on the day.

There will be plenty to keep shoppers entertained from performances to activities.
In partnership with Visit Eastleigh, the event is completely free and will run until 7pm.
Further details will be released on the Visit Eastleigh website in due course.
This comes after the exciting announcement about Southampton’s Christmas lights switch-on.
People can expect to see festive characters line the streets and a variety of live music, in an event spread across four days.
The festive fun will kickstart on November 16.
