The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court.

FLORIN-PUIU BUTI, 22, of Berkeley Avenue, Ealing pleaded guilty to theft from a shop relating to £1,311.86 worth of batteries stolen from Asda in Southampton. They were bailed to appear at the same court on December 6 for sentencing. 

AMY NICHOLS, 23, of Banning Street, Romsey admitted a single count of criminal damage to the window of a Fiat Punto. She was ordered to pay £230 compensation, a £120 fine, £85 court costs and a £48 surcharge. 

ALEXANDRU MOCANU, 41, of Cranbury Avenue, Southampton pleaded guilty to theft from a shop relating to five crates of alcohol worth £90 that were stolen from Tesco in High Street, Southampton. He was given a two-year community order with an alcohol treatment requirement and 20 rehabilitation days. Mocanu must pay court costs of £85.

SAMUEL WHITE, 32, of Castle Mews, Ringwood admitted drink driving on Millbrook Road West, Southampton. He was caught with 67 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath. White also pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a non endorsable traffic sign. He was banned from driving for 36 months and fined £600. White must also pay £85 court costs and a £240 surcharge. 

REMUS OLTEANU, 26, of Derby Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to driving without insurance in a BMW on Portswood Road. He also admitted driving whilst disqualified. Olteanu was bailed to appear at the same court on December 6 for sentencing. 

MIA DEAKIN, 19, of Southampton Street, Southampton admitted assault by beating of an emergency worker in Bursledon. She was ordered to pay £50 compensation and £30 court costs. 

IAN BAILEY, 21, of George Street, Lincolnshire pleaded guilty to assault by beating and theft from a shop, both in Southampton. The theft relates to £25.55 worth of alcohol and cigarettes stolen from Sainsbury's. He was remanded in custody to attend the same court on November 8 for sentencing.
