A car has been written off after crashing on a Hampshire motorway.
The collision on the M27 westbound this morning between junctions 12 and 11 only involved one car but caused severe delays.
The incident caused only minor barrier damage.
Delays M27 westbound j12-11 due to single vehicle RTC. In current weather conditions its even more important to check tyres. Luckily only minor barrier damage and a written off vehicle. Driver provided strong words of advice along with TOR for tyre tread. #23364 #27189 pic.twitter.com/bE5uZK0twV

In a post shared on Hampshire Roads Policing Unit’s X (Twitter) Page, the force said the driver received three points.
He was also given a traffic offence report for tyre tread and officers gave “strong words of advice” to the driver.
Officers ended the post with advice to drivers to check tyres in cold weather conditions.
