The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...
JOSHUA CRICHTON, 33, of Lymington Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to bail, using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence, and theft from a shop relating to £135.65 worth of bottles that were stolen from Tesco in Eastleigh's Swan Centre. He was given a community order to run until April 24, 2025 with 21 days of rehabilitation activity.
NICHOLAS CLAYTON, 43, of Arnheim Road, Southampton admitted to making indecent images of a child. He was caught with 14 Category C images. Clayton was given a two-year community order with 45 rehabilitation days and 40 hours of unpaid work. He is also subject to notification requirements for the next five years and must pay £85 court costs plus a £114 surcharge.

JASON EVANS, 29, of Radcliffe Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to assault by beating of an emergency worker, two counts of assault by beating, criminal damage to a garden chair and failing to comply with a section 35 direction excluding a person from an area. He was bailed to appear at the same court on January 3 for sentencing.
LOVE TO SWIM HAMPSHIRE LTD, based at Wellow Wood Road, West Wellow pleaded guilty to failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver of a Volkswagen who was alleged to be guilty of an offence. The company was fined £461 and ordered to pay £110 court costs and a £184 surcharge.
JOSEPH ARNOLD, 32, of Milkwood Court, Totton pleaded guilty to two counts of theft from a shop relating to £132 worth of spirit bottles that were stolen from Asda in Maynard Road, Totton and five packets of steaks worth £27.50 stolen from Morrisons in Water Lane. He also admitted charges of common assault and causing criminal damage to food worth £15 at Tesco Express in Nutshalling Close, Calmore. Arnold was bailed to appear at the same court on January 3 for sentencing.
