A Fareham business that supplies telecoms software to global communications firms is set to create around 50 new jobs with support from HSBC UK.

ANS Digital Transformation will use a six-figure funding package from HSBC to double its workforce over the next year.

The funding provides ANS with working capital allowing the business to expand and begin work on additional contracts.

This will ensure future profits can be easily reinvested in ANS, driving growth, and creating jobs in the local area.

Phil Brooks, CEO at ANS Digital Transformations said: “The funding from HSBC UK is crucial for scaling up our workforce, providing new jobs with the vast majority coming from the local area where we have great relationships with nearby universities.”

Due to the support of HSBC, ANS is expecting turnover to increase by 300 per cent over the next three years.

The newly created jobs are concentrated in the Hampshire region, across a range of highly skilled areas, including AI and machine learning.

ANS provides software to leading multinational telecoms corporations, both in the UK and around the world.

The firm provides software that detects faults within a network before arranging a fix through service maintenance or equipment updates as well as notifying customers about the fault.

The funding deal came through HSBC UK’s newly launched commercial broker scheme.

Under the new scheme, accredited commercial finance brokers will be able to provide business leads to HSBC UK’s relationship managers.

This will allow HSBC UK to provide customers with more help in the expansion of their businesses through asset purchases, capital expenditure or other investment opportunities.

Ian Coulson, Head of Commercial Brokerage at HSBC UK, added: “ANS Digital Transformation provides a cutting-edge service that millions of people around the world rely on without knowing.

“Utilising HSBC UK’s brokerage scheme gives customers such as ANS access to specialist support, which helps them on their journey.”
