Aspiring cocktail connoisseurs are being invited to an exclusive cocktail masterclass at the eatery named Southampton's best restaurant this week. 

Guests will be able to sip, savour and socialise all while raising funds for the Lord Mayor’s Charity at Figurati on Thursday (November 30).

The modern Italian restaurant in Ocean Village is hoping to help cocktail lovers to stir, shake and serve their way to bartending brilliance.

Led by expert mixologists from the Figurati team, the budding bartenders will craft Italian inspired cocktails including Figurati Fling, Passionfruit Martini and Spiced Apple Sour.

All profits from the mixing masterclass will be donated to the Lord Mayor's Charity which provides support and funds to Saints Foundation, Oasis Southampton City Farm, and Southampton Sea Cadets.

The charity cocktail crash-course is taking place from 4pm to 6pm.

Nick O’Halloran, from the restaurant, said: "The night is going to be absolutely fantastic. We have so much for people to get involved with, from trying out new drinks to learning some of the basics about cocktail mastery, we’ve got a lot in-store for our guests.

“Our mixology experts will be leading the evening and they know how to put on a good show. There will be lots of fun and laughter, it’s definitely an event you don’t want to miss out on.

“Supporting local charities is really important to us so we are really looking forward to raising funds for such important causes.”
