A suspected drug dealer kept "a significantly large" amount of drugs hidden in his clothes, police have said.

He was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs after being found with cash, scales and multiple phones on St Mary's Street on Monday night.

Police say his behaviour attracted the attention of officers who stopped and searched him.

After being taken into custody, police also found "a significantly large" amount of class A drugs hidden in his clothes and arrested him on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.

He remains in custody as the investigation continues.
