The following drivers have been fined after they were caught speeding on the M27 or M3.

THOMAS BROWN, 66, of Pennington Oval, Pennington pleaded guilty to exceeding a temporary 50mph speed restriction on the M3 at Winchester. He was driving an Iveco southbound between junctions nine and eleven when he was caught at 58mph by an automatic speed camera. The speed limit at the time was 50mph. Brown was banned from driving for six months and received three points. He must pay a £166 fine, £110 court costs and a £66 surcharge.

VICTOR SMITH, 43, of Bridgemary Road, Gosport admitted speeding on the M27 at Hedge End. He was caught by an automatic camera driving at 94mph between junctions eight and seven. He was driving a Vauxhall westbound at the time. Smith was banned from driving for six months and received four points on his licence. He must pay an £80 fine, £110 court costs and a £32 surcharge.

OLIVER JORDAN, 26, of Union Lane, Droxford pleaded guilty to speeding on the M27 at West End. He was caught by an automatic speed camera driving an Audi eastbound between junctions five and seven at 96mph. Jordan was fined £533 and received six penalty points. He must pay £110 court costs and a £213 surcharge. 

BENJAMIN JENSEN-BAILY, 56, of Herens Court Close, Rustington admitted speeding at 96mph on the M27 between junctions eight and seven near Hedge End. He was behind the wheel of a BMW when he was caught driving westbound by an automatic speed camera. Jensen-Baily was fined £272 and received four penalty points. He must pay court costs of £110 and a £109 surcharge. 

LOUIS HOLLAND, 19, of Rum Bridge Street, Knightwood Close, Southampton pleaded guilty to speeding on the M27 between junctions four and three near Southampton. He was driving a BMW 116 when he was caught by manned speeding equipment at 111mph. Holland was fined £120 and received six points on his licence. He must also pay court costs of £50 and a £48 surcharge.
