Staff at this country pub are gearing up for a busy Christmas when they will serve an estimated 1,000 Christmas dinners.
Festive preparations are well underway at The Duke on the Test in Romsey where bookings have soared to 70 per cent and Christmas Day bookings have been sold out for months.
Staff have ordered in extra bottles of wine, Champagne and spirits and are looking forward to serving 2,000 helpings of pigs in blankets, accompanied by 500 delectable Christmas puddings. They also have more than 2,000 festive crackers ready to be pulled.

General Manager, Mark Pinn said: "We're thrilled to see the overwhelming response from our customers for the festive season. The team has been tirelessly preparing to ensure that each guest enjoys a memorable and delightful experience.
