Police are searching for a man in connection with a bike theft outside a Waitrose store.

The pedal bike was stolen from outside the supermarket on Stanford Road, Lymington at about 9.30am on December 11.

The bike is worth about £100 and is a neon green and yellow Trek Marlin.

Now a photo has been released of a man police would like to speak to as part of their investigation.

A police spokesperson said: “Do you recognise this man?

“We would like to speak to him in connection with the theft of a pedal cycle outside Waitrose, Stanford Road, Lymington.

“We believe the man in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you have any information about this incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.
