Two men charged with robbery have appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court.
The two men appeared in court after a robbery at One Stop on Butts Road in Sholing last Friday.
Police were called at 2.22pm on December 29 to report that a man carrying a knife had entered the shop.
He jumped over the counter and stole the till before running away with a second man.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
Police have now charged two men, they are: Benjamin Andrew McEwan, 38, of Montague Avenue, was charged with robbery and possession of a knife in a public place.
Kevin Alan Taylor, 42, of no fixed address, has been charged with robbery.
McEwan appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court on Monday. He has been remanded into custody and will next appear at Southampton Crown Court on January 29.
On Tuesday, Taylor appeared in court where he was also remanded into custody and is due to appear at Southampton Crown Court on February 2.
