Following a record-breaking West End residency, sold-out tour and award-winning film, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie returns to Mayflower Theatre this week starring Giovanna Fletcher and John Partridge.
Jamie New is 16 and lives on a council estate in Sheffield, but doesn't quite fit in. He overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies and steps into the spotlight.
Everybody’s Talking About Jamie features an all-star cast including Queen of the Jungle Giovanna Fletcher as Miss Hedge and Eastenders actor John Partridge as Hugo / Loco Chanelle.

John said: “It is a story about Jamie, but it’s also got this really wide breadth of very well crafted characters that you see in your daily life. You live with them in your own homes, on your own streets.
"It's really important for us right now to be able to get out there and tell this story.
“My role is small and perfectly formed."
The show is set to an original score of catchy pop tunes by The Feeling's Dan Gillespie Sells and writer Tom MacRae (Doctor Who).
It runs until Sunday.
