The following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court.

BEN SIDDLE, 24, of Beckett Road, Worthing admitted causing criminal damage to a mobile phone, two CCTV cameras, a ceiling tile and a door belonging to A1 Carpets in Southampton. He was bailed to appear at the same court on April 19. 

JIMMY WILSON, 34, of Leighton Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled drug of Class B, namely cannabis. He was fined £170. An order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the drug. Wilson must pay £85 court costs.

SEAN KERR, 62, of Westwood Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to using a phone whilst driving a Volkswagen Passat on Desborough Road, Eastleigh. He was fined £120 and received six points on his licence. Kerr must also pay an £80 surcharge.

DYLAN HEWITT-HAMPTON, 20, of Castle Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to assault by beating of an emergency worker in West End. He was ordered to pay £50 compensation.

MARTA SEVERO LUIZ, 47, of Newitt Place, Southampton admitted failing to comply with a non-endorsable traffic sign whilst driving a Volkswagen on Bassett Avenue, Southampton. She was fined £50. 

WIKTOR PTASZYNSKI, 22, of Grove Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to drug driving on the Itchen Bridge. He was caught with THC - a breakdown product of cannabis - in his blood. Ptaszynski was banned from driving for 12 months and fined £307. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £123 surcharge. 

STEPHEN CROOKS, 50, of St Hugh's Close, Bicester admitted exceeding a temporary 50mph speed limit on the M3 near Winchester. He was driving a Land Rover between junctions ten and nine northbound when he was caught on an automatic speed camera at 57mph. Crooks was fined £241 and received three points on his licence. He must also pay court costs of £110 and a £86 surcharge.
