A ROMSEY shop has become the newest member of a top bridalwear association.

Romsey Bridal Boutique has joined the Retail Bridalwear Association (RBA). The RBA is the only trading association for wedding shops in the UK and has strict entry requirements.

The shop in Latimer Street, led by directors Tara Reddish and Annika Martin, was thrilled to receive the association’s backing.

Ms Reddish said: “'Romsey Bridal Boutique is the newest member of the Retail Bridalwear Association and this is not an easy Association to join!  The RBA carries out stringent checks on all prospective members to ensure that their high standards or quality, service and professionalism are met and maintained.

“The RBA is dedicated to supporting the bride and groom by upholding these high standards. At Romsey Bridal, they believe that in a time where the economy is not at its best, giving brides additional assurance when they find their dream wedding is very reassuring knowing they are in safe hands.”

Tara first opened the shop, under the name Wedded Bliss, in Dibden Purlieu back in 2002. But as a Romsey girl at heart, she moved her business to her hometown in 2015 before joining forces with Annika in 2019.

Romsey Bridal Boutique is one of just four RBA-accredited shops in Hampshire. The shop stocks a variation of sample sizes, from a UK eight to 26, with budgets from £795 - £1200. For more information go to romseybridal.co.uk
