A shoplifter has stolen £128 worth of alcohol from a Sainsbury’s store.

The incident, which involved the theft of three bottles of alcohol, happened at 3.15pm on Friday, November 24, at Sainsbury’s on Tollbar Way, Hedge End.

Following the theft, officers would like to speak to a woman in connection to the shoplifting incident. Police have only now released details.

The woman is described as white, of medium build, aged about 27 with blonde dyed hair, which is tied up at the back.

She is about 5ft 2ins tall and was seen wearing lots of makeup, a black all-in-one dress, with black Nike sliders with a white tick logo.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: “Have you seen this woman?

“We believe the woman in this image can help us with our investigation and would urge her, or anyone who knows her identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you have information about this incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”

They added: “You can do this by calling 101, or by reporting online via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website, quoting incident number 44230482531.”
