Snow could fall in Southampton, The Met Office has said as temperatures are set to plummet again tomorrow morning.

The weather forecast for the city tomorrow, published at 6pm today, shows that there is a 50 per cent chance of snow at around 11am.

It follows weather warnings for ice and snow across the north of the UK in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

It is worth adding that the Met Office regularly updates its weather forecasts and the snow prediction could be subject to change.

But as of 6pm today, the Met Office says there will be a high of three degrees with a low of minus two tomorrow.

It adds however that it could get as cold as minus three and will feel like minus six at points.
