A BMW driver has been ordered to pay more than £1,000 after he was caught speeding at 57mph on the M27.
Timothy Mayer, 43, was clocked at 57mph by an automatic speed camera as he travelled along the M27 near Hedge End.
The BMW driver was travelling westbound at the time between junctions eight and seven.

A variable speed limit of 30mph was in place.
He pleaded guilty to exceeding a variable speed limit at Southampton Magistrates' Court.
Mayer, of Granger Farm Way, Ampfield was fined £666 and received six points on his licence.
He was also ordered to pay court costs of £110 and a £266 surcharge.
This must be paid in full by February 8.
