Gusts of up to 60mph are forecast in Southampton tomorrow and into Monday as a bout of wet and windy weather replaces the recent cold snap.
The area will be covered by a yellow weather warning for wind issued for the whole of the UK, which will come into force at 12pm tomorrow.
The alert will remain in place on Monday when a more severe amber warning for wind will also cover the south coast, stretching as far west as Chichester.
