A man has been charged with three shoplifting offences from Morrisons stores in Totton and Calmore.
Shane Wright, 21, of no fixed abode, was arrested by police officers in Calmore Drive on Tuesday.
He was subsequently charged with a shoplifting from Morrisons in Nutshalling Close, Calmore on Sunday, January 21, and two shopliftings from Morrisons Daily in Water Lane, Totton on Wednesday, January 17 and Saturday, January 27.
He appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today, and has been remanded in custody to next appear at the same court tomorrow.

A second man, 23, of no fixed abode, was also arrested in Calmore Drive at the same time.
He was wanted on warrant for failing to appear at court in connection with a report of shoplifting at the Co-op in Salisbury Road, Totton on Saturday, November 11 last year.
He has been bailed to next appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, June 25.
