This is the horrifying moment a Tesla driver high on cannabis ploughed into a new mum’s car at 100mph on the M27.

Josselin Herjean was careering at speed along the motorway last October when he smashed into Kirsty Skinner’s car.

The shocking footage, taken from Herjean’s dashcam, shows him dart into the outside lane before rear-ending Kirsty’s white BMW.

The impact forced the BMW into the motorway barrier, bouncing the vehicle into the air, flying several meters down the carriageway.

Dust flies into the air as the car lands with a bang in the far lane.

Kirsty, 31, was being driven home by her partner following after giving birth to a premature baby girl when the crash occurred.

Three of her children were in the car at the time of the collision.

Southampton Crown Court Herjean was high on cannabis and had suffered a 'psychotic episode' due to the stress of his job as an IT manager on the London Stock Exchange, a court heard.

The 51-year-old from Hamble avoided jail – which Kirsty feels is a miscarriage of justice.

Speaking to the Echo, she said: “I don’t feel like justice has been served. It will never be served because that is the decision the judge has come to.

“It just makes me have no confidence in the system especially when they have all the evidence on how recklessly he was driving.”

Herjean was handed a 16-week jail sentence, suspended for a year.

He was also disqualified from driving for 18 months.
