Police are searching for the owner of a bicycle which they believe to be stolen after it was recovered on Above Bar Street this weekend.
Officers posted on social media asking for the owner of the Carrera Crossfire 6061 T6 Aluminium bike to come forward.
It comes after it was recovered on Saturday evening (February 3) on Above Bar Street in Southampton city centre.
In a statement on Southampton Police’s Facebook page, a spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: “Good evening, Southampton City Centre Unit have recovered a bike this evening (Saturday) which they believe to be stolen.
“It’s a Carrera Crossfire 6061 T6 Aluminium located in the Southampton City area.
“If you have recently had a bike similar stolen or lost, please contact us on 101 quoting reference 44240050284.”
