A spokesperson from Greene King said: “The Silver Fern pub on Warsash Road in Southampton is closing for a short period from February 19, while it undertakes a six-figure investment.

“The Silver Fern will reopen its doors to the public in late March, following the completion of major renovations.”

The pub boasts ‘top notch amenities’ including a beer garden, TNT Sports, and a pool table.

It usually serves food from midday to 9pm every day, except Sunday where food service ends at 8pm.
