Mystery surrounds a car found overturned on a busy Southampton road.
The car had been on its side on Chichester Road, Bitterne, since at least 3.30am this morning.
The sight prompted many people on social media to speculate about what happened.

When approached by the Echo, Hampshire police said the incident had not been reported to them.
It is unclear whether it had been involved in a collision or pushed up onto its side, having previously been parked on the kerb.
It comes as Southampton was buffeted by high winds yesterday.
