A driver has been given points on his licence after he was clocked at 68mph on the M27. 

Ishaq Thomas-Chitani was caught by an automatic speed camera driving at 68mph between junctions ten and nine of the M27. 

He was driving a Mercedes westbound near Fareham at the time. 

The 23-year-old of Bentworth Road, London pleaded guilty to exceeding a variable speed limit at Southampton Magistrates' Court.

The offence took place on September 17, 2022. 

Thomas-Chitani was fined £180 and received four points on his licence. 

He was ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £43 surcharge. 

This must be paid in full by March 25.
