CCTV footage of two women has been released by police after more than £400 worth of alcohol and food were stolen from a Sainsbury's store. 

Police have put out three photographs after the theft at Sainsbury's Hedge End shortly after midday on January 26.

Alcohol and food worth £430 were stolen and now officers want to speak to anyone with information.

The first woman is described as white, 5ft 3ins tall, of large build with dyed blonde hair in a bun on top of her head with dark roots showing. 

 

She was wearing a black jacket, and black trousers with black and white trainers.

The second woman is described as white, 5ft 5ins tall of skinny build with dark hair tied in a bun on the back of the head.

The force says she has very gaunt features and very skinny legs and was wearing black leggings, black and white trainers and an oversized padded, hooded, olive coat

A spokesperson from Hampshire police said: “Do you recognise these women?

“We would like to speak to them in connection with a shoplifting incident at Sainsbury’s, Tollbar Way, Hedge End.

“We believe the women in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge them, or anyone who knows their identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you have information about these incidents, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.

“You can do this by calling 101, or by reporting online via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website, quoting incident number 44240047226.”
