Children across Hampshire have dressed up as characters from some of the most famous books in celebration of World Book Day 2024.
Pupils from across the county got suited up as some of literature's most loved or loathed characters and creatures including Aragog from Harry Potter and Shelob from Lord of the Rings.
Violet and Maddie at Foxhills Junior School took the time to sew their very own costumes for the event on Wednesday.
They were joined by their schoolmates who donned Hogwarts robes, a Spiderman suit, a Wednesday get-up and even a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle outfit.
World Book Day is marked in over 100 countries across the globe and was created in celebration of books and reading.
It was launched by UNESCO on April 23, 1995 with the first event taking place in the UK and Ireland in 1997.
In Monday's paper, we will be featuring some of your children's best outfits in a pull-out supplement, so keep your eyes peeled.
