A firefighter took centre stage at a theatre to celebrate International Women’s Day.
A crew from Cosham were stood by at St Mary’s Fire Station - with the station's usual crew out at the warehouse blaze near St Mary's Stadium - when they were alerted to an alarm sounding at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton at 10.30am.
When they arrived they realised it had been a false alarm.
But firefighters decided it was too good of a chance to miss out on, and stepped up to the stage to celebrate International Women’s Day.
White Watch Cosham currently stood by at St Mary’s attended an AFA at @mayflower.
