Two men arrested as part of a murder investigation have been bailed until June.

The pair, 60 and 35, from Totton, have been released until June 21.

They were previously arrested on suspicion of murder and bailed until March 22.

It follows the death of a man in his 40s at the junction of Bernard Street and Oxford Street on December 22.

Abraham Cilliers, 48, of Osprey Gardens, Lee-on-the-Solent, had been in Southampton when he was involved in what police described at the time as an 'altercation'.

He then suffered a cardiac arrest at the junction of Oxford Street and Bernard Street at around 12.40am.

Sadly, despite the best efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
