An uninsured car parked on the roadside and ‘causing annoyance’ has been seized.

Officers visited King Edward Avenue in Southampton last night (March 22) following concerns raised by residents.

PC Hedley was investigating a Renault Clio parked on the side of the road.

It was found that the Clio had no tax, MOT, or insurance and was seized by officers.

A spokesperson from Southampton Police said: “Southampton West's Neighbourhood Policing Team’s designated officer for Millbrook PC Hedley has been out this evening addressing concerns raised by residents.

“This enquiry was in relation to a vehicle without the correct documents, being parked on the roadside and causing an annoyance.

“The car has now been seized from King Edward Avenue.”
