An investigation has been launched after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted.
Officers are investigating the incident which happened around 6.40am on Saturday February 17.
During which a 17-year-old girl was waiting for a bus at Fareham Bus Station on Harper Road when she was approached by an unknown man.
He is said to have asked the girl a number of questions and then pushed his chest into hers, before continuing to speak inappropriately and walked off.
Since this was reported, officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries and have now released an e-fit image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with this incident.
The man is described as black, 5ft 4ins tall, aged between 35 and 39 and of slim build.
He had short black hair, with tight curls, and a goatee-style beard. He was wearing black clothing.
A police spokesperson has said: “If you witnessed the incident, or recognise the man in the image, please call 101 quoting reference number 44240071199.
“Alternatively, you can submit information via our website”.
