Police have released a photo of two men after a vacuum cleaner and £330 worth of items were stolen from Sainsbury’s.

Officers are investigating the incident of shoplifting at the Tollbar Way store on January 8.

It involved the theft of a Henry vacuum cleaner valued at £130 between 1.25pm and 1.30pm.

Items worth £330 were also stolen from the store on two other occasions on the same day.

The first man is described as white, aged approximately 24 years, around 5ft 10ins tall, of slim build, clean shaven, with scruffy black hair.

He was wearing a black puffer coat, black trousers and black trainers.

The second man is described as white, aged approximately 44 years, around 5ft 10ins tall with black hair, gelled back and a beard.

He was wearing a black coat and jumper, dark navy blue trousers/jeans, and black shoes.

A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said: “We believe the men in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge them, or anyone who knows their identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you have information about this incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.
